central spot to explore several major attractions and parks
I loved staying here for my weekend adventure, as it was just a short walk to the Chocolate Museum & Cafe and a quick drive to SeaWorld Orlando, making it super convenient for exploring great spots without needing to travel far. plus, the hotel itself was clean and comfortable for the price and perfect for a solo traveler like me, but I did notice that the carpets in the room could use some updating.

Not for Families looking for comfort
The room was clean, and we requested extra towels, which were delivered fast.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable for a budget stay.

Absolutely loved the breakfast at Pineapple Grill. the $9.99 deal was a steal! Plus, I found some tasty local spots like Flavors of India just a short drive away that made my foodie heart sing.
The pool area had way too much empty space with barely any lounge chairs—totally missed a chill vibe! Plus, the breakfast should really be included, and finding towels was like a scavenger hunt, with what we got being practically washcloths.

I enjoyed my stay at the Monumental Hotel during my American road trip. The staff proved helpful in addressing minor issues, and the spacious accommodations provided comfort for my partner and me. Although the decor felt dated, the overall experience remained good.

Great Value with Room for Improvement
We had a lovely night in our King Room. The pool area needed more lounge chairs, but the atmosphere was relaxing. Enjoyed delicious breakfast options at the on-site café. Pro tip, Ask for pool towels at the front desk before sunbathing.

missingWrote a review on Jun 26dated carpets
The hotel feels like it’s stuck in a time warp. carpets look dated and bear markings that hint at their long history. Breakfast options should really be complimentary instead of a cash grab, and the pool towel situation felt like a treasure hunt—about as useful as Ewok battle plans. Plus, why is the ice machine only on the first floor? It’s a hike, especially when you’re not close to anything. Don't get me started on the view from my room—it could’ve used an upgrade.

Good location but needs serious updates
I recently stayed for three nights and found the location was convenient for accessing theme parks, making it easy to explore Orlando. However, the hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. my room had outdated furnishings and an unpleasant odor that lingered throughout my stay. The pool area was decent, but there weren't enough lounge chairs to relax comfortably. If the beds were upgraded and the cleanliness improved, this place could really shine.

Lack of maintenance and cleanliness issues in common areas.

Check-in was smooth, thanks to a friendly staff member who provided great local dining recommendations. The room had a spacious layout and was kept clean, but there was an unpleasant odor at times. The building appeared to need significant updates, including a deep cleaning and maintenance of common areas. Despite these shortcomings, the bed was comfortable, allowing for a decent night's sleep.
